Product Overview
The CMLW8040S Series is a line of wire-wound SMD power inductors featuring magnetic-resin shielding for ultra-low buzz noise and a closed magnetic circuit design to minimize leakage flux and EMI. These inductors offer a 30% higher current rating than conventional inductors of equal size, contributing to reduced PCB real estate and power savings. They are designed for durability with metallization on the ferrite core providing excellent shock resistance.

Operating Conditions
Operating temperature range (including self-heating): -40 ~ +125. Storage temperature range (packaging conditions): -10~+40 and RH 70% (Max.).
Notes
- All test data is referenced to 20C ambient.
- Rated current is the smaller of Isat or Irms.
- Isat is the DC current at which inductance drops approximately 30% from its value without current.
- Irms is the DC current that causes a temperature rise (T =40C) from 20C ambient.
- Standard Packing Quantity: 1000 pcs/reel.
