Product Overview
The CMLW4018S Series is a Wire Wound SMD Power Inductor featuring magnetic-resin shielded construction for ultra-low buzz noise. Its metallization on the ferrite core ensures excellent shock resistance and damage-free durability, while the closed magnetic circuit design minimizes leakage flux and EMI. These inductors offer a 30% higher current rating than conventional inductors of equal size, occupying less PCB space and saving power. They are ideal for applications in LED lighting, mobile devices, flat-screen TVs, recorders, set-top boxes, computers, servers, graphic cards, portable gaming devices, personal navigation systems, personal multimedia devices, and automotive and telecommunication systems.

- Rated current: Isat or Irms, whichever is smaller.
- Isat: DC current at which the inductance drops approximate 30% from its value without current.
- Irms: DC current that causes the temperature rise (T =40C) from 20C ambient.
