Product Overview
The CMLW3012S Series is a wire-wound SMD power inductor featuring magnetic-resin shielded construction for ultra-low buzz noise. Its metallization on the ferrite core provides excellent shock resistance and durability, while the closed magnetic circuit design minimizes leakage flux and EMI. These inductors offer a 30% higher current rating than conventional inductors of equal size, saving PCB real estate and power. Ideal for LED lighting, mobile devices, flat-screen TVs, computers, servers, gaming devices, automotive systems, and telecomm base stations.

- Rated current: Isat or Irms, whichever is smaller.
- Isat: DC current at which the inductance drops approximate 30% from its value without current.
- Irms: DC current that causes the temperature rise ( T =40C) from 20C ambient.
