Product Overview

The CMLW5040S Series is a wire wound SMD power inductor featuring magnetic-resin shielded construction for ultra-low buzz noise. Its metallization on the ferrite core provides excellent shock resistance and durability. The closed magnetic circuit design minimizes leakage flux and EMI. These inductors offer a 30% higher current rating than conventional inductors of equal size, consume less PCB real estate, and save power. They are ideal for applications in LED lighting, mobile devices with multifunctionality, flat-screen TVs, disc recorders, set-top boxes, notebooks, desktops, servers, graphic cards, portable gaming devices, personal navigation and multimedia devices, and automotive and telecomm base station systems.
