The CMLW4012S Series is a wire-wound SMD power inductor featuring a magnetic-resin shielded construction for ultra-low buzz noise. Its metallization on the ferrite core provides excellent shock resistance and damage-free durability, while the closed magnetic circuit design minimizes leakage flux and EMI. These inductors offer a 30% higher current rating than conventional inductors of equal size, saving PCB real estate and power.

Operating Conditions
- Operating temperature range (Including self-heating): -40 ~ +125
- Storage temperature range (packaging conditions): -10~+40 and RH 70% (Max.)
Notes
- All test data is referenced to 20C ambient.
- Rated current: Isat or Irms, whichever is smaller.
- Isat: DC current at which the inductance drops approximate 30% from its value without current.
- Irms: DC current that causes the temperature rise (T =40C) from 20C ambient.
- Operating temperature: -55C ~ +125C (This appears to be a general operating temp, but the earlier spec is -40 to +125. Sticking to the more specific one from the electrical characteristics section).
