Precautions For Use

  • Capacitors are polarized; ensure correct polarity to avoid damage. Use bipolar capacitors for unknown or variable polarity circuits.
  • Do not exceed the rated working voltage. Recommended usage is 70%-80% of rated voltage for extended life. The sum of DC and peak AC voltage must not exceed the rated voltage.
  • Do not exceed the rated ripple current to prevent overheating, deterioration, and shortened lifespan.
  • Not suitable for frequent charging and discharging cycles unless specifically designed.
  • Ambient temperature significantly impacts lifespan; a 10 increase can halve the life.
  • Manual soldering: temperature below 280, time less than 3 seconds. Avoid direct contact between soldering tip and casing.
  • Ensure adequate space above the safety vent for effective operation (2mm for 5-16mm, 3mm for 18-35mm, 5mm for 40mm+).
  • Do not stress capacitor leads or terminals. Do not forcibly remove capacitors or move PCB boards by lifting the capacitor.
  • The aluminum shell is not insulated from the cathode. Avoid placing conductive wires or terminals under the capacitor on the PCB.
  • Store in normal temperature, humidity, acid/alkali-free environments, avoiding direct sunlight. For storage over 6 months, consider using a 1K protective resistor during reforming.
  • Handle with care to avoid deformation or damage.
  • Surge voltage is the maximum DC over-voltage for short periods (approx. 30s in 5min intervals).
  • Avoid use in environments with direct contact to water, saltwater, oil, high humidity (>75%), harmful gases, direct sunlight, ozone, UV, radioactive substances, severe vibration/shock, or with halogen-containing fixatives/resins. Confirm compatibility with other fixatives/coatings.
