Usage Precautions
Circuit Design: Use within rated performance, avoid high temperature, overcurrent, overvoltage, reverse/AC voltage, and rapid charge/discharge. Consider machine lifespan when selecting capacitors. Ensure isolation between capacitor terminals and circuit. Use appropriate insulation where necessary. Avoid contact with water, salt water, oil, or corrosive gases. Protect from direct sunlight, ozone, UV, and radiation. Ensure vibration and shock conditions are within limits. Verify hole spacing matches PCB. Ensure space above safety vent and avoid placing components nearby. Avoid other wiring near the capacitor. Minimize heat-generating components around the capacitor. Consider temperature/frequency stability, PCB hole layout, and current/voltage balancing for parallel/series connections.
Assembly & Installation: Do not let terminals touch. Prevent short circuits. Ensure no contact with water/oil, avoid condensation, UV, radiation, and corrosive gases. Ensure vibration/shock are within limits. Check for proper hole spacing. Avoid excessive force with automatic insertion machines. Do not use dropped or deformed capacitors. Discharge capacitors with a ~1k resistor before handling. Ensure correct polarity and specifications before installation. For screw terminals, ensure pressure valve is oriented upwards during vertical mounting and upwards or positive terminal upwards during horizontal mounting.
Soldering: Avoid solder adhering to non-terminal areas. Follow specified temperature, time, and number of cycles. Do not immerse the capacitor body in solder. Prevent other components from falling onto the capacitor during soldering.
Cleaning: Do not use cleaning agents unless specified. If cleaning is necessary, follow product specifications regarding cleaning agents (conductivity, pH, specific gravity, moisture) and drying procedures to prevent residue. Do not store in cleaning liquid or sealed containers after cleaning. Dry with hot air below maximum operating temperature.
Fixing Agents: Do not use halogen-containing fixing agents or resin coatings. Ensure no solder residue or dirt remains between the PCB and capacitor. Dry thoroughly before applying fixing agents to prevent clogging of printed holes.
Accidental Situations: If the safety vent opens during assembly, disconnect the main power. Keep face away from the vent as hot gas may be ejected. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with water. Do not taste electrolyte; wash skin with soap if contacted.
Fumigation Treatment: Be cautious with halide fumigation (e.g., potassium bromide) for overseas export, as it can cause corrosion. Fumigant should not directly contact products, and thorough drying is essential. Verify safety if fumigant residue is suspected.
Storage Conditions: Store indoors at 5-30 with humidity below 75%. Do not store in environments prohibited for use.
Disposal: Puncture or crush and incinerate, or hand over to specialized recycling personnel.
