Usage Precautions
1. Circuit Design: Use within rated performance, avoid high temperature, overcurrent, overvoltage, reverse voltage, or frequent charge/discharge. Select capacitors with a lifespan compatible with the machine. Ensure isolation between capacitor terminals and circuit. Do not use if casing insulation is insufficient. Avoid contact with water, salt water, oil, condensation, or harmful gases. Protect from direct sunlight, ozone, UV, and radiation. Avoid severe vibration and shock beyond specifications.
2. Component Installation: Ensure correct polarity. Do not use dropped capacitors. Do not install deformed capacitors. Ensure correct pitch between capacitor leads and PCB holes. Avoid excessive force from automatic insertion machines.
3. Assembly & Use: Prevent direct contact between capacitor terminals. Avoid short circuits. Avoid contact with water, oil, condensation, harmful gases, ozone, UV, or radiation. Prevent vibration and shock exceeding specifications. On double-sided PCBs, avoid mounting over unnecessary holes. Ensure current balance in parallel connections and voltage balance in series connections.
4. Maintenance: Regular checks of appearance and performance are required for industrial capacitors.
5. Accidental Situations: If the safety vent opens during assembly, disconnect power. Be cautious of hot gas expulsion; avoid facial proximity. In case of eye contact, flush with water. Do not ingest electrolyte; wash skin with soap if contacted.
6. Fumigation Treatment: Be cautious of corrosion from halide-based fumigants (e.g., potassium bromide) when exporting products overseas. Ensure fumigant does not directly contact products and allow for thorough drying.
7. Storage Conditions: Store indoors at 5-30 and below 75% humidity. Do not store in environments prohibited for use.
8. Disposal: Puncture or crush and incinerate, or hand over to professional recyclers.
