Usage Precautions
- Circuit Design: Use within specified ratings. Avoid high temperature, overcurrent, overvoltage, reverse voltage, AC voltage, and frequent charge/discharge. Select capacitors with lifespan matching machine life. Ensure isolation between capacitor terminals and other circuit components.
- Component Installation: Ensure terminals do not touch. Avoid short circuits. Do not use in environments with water, salt water, oil, condensation, or harmful gases. Protect from direct sunlight, ozone, UV, and radiation. Avoid excessive vibration and shock. Ensure correct polarity and hole spacing.
- Assembly: Do not allow terminals to directly contact. Avoid short circuits. Do not use capacitors that have been dropped or deformed. Ensure correct hole spacing. Avoid excessive force from automatic insertion machines.
- Soldering: Prevent solder from adhering to areas other than terminals. Follow specified soldering conditions (temperature, time, cycles). Do not immerse the capacitor body in solder. Avoid other products falling onto the capacitor during soldering.
- Cleaning: Do not clean with detergents unless specified. If cleaning is necessary, follow product specifications regarding cleaning agents and procedures. Ensure proper drying to prevent residual cleaning fluid.
- Fixing Agents: Do not use halogen-containing fixatives or coating agents. Ensure no solder residue or dirt remains between the PCB and capacitor. Dry thoroughly before applying fixatives/coatings.
- Mounting: For screw terminals, ensure pressure valve faces upwards in vertical mounting and upwards in horizontal mounting.
- Storage: Store indoors at 5-30 with humidity below 75%. Avoid storage in environments detrimental to usage.
- Disposal: Puncture or crush and incinerate, or hand over to professional recyclers.
- Accidents: If pressure valve opens, cut main power. Keep face away from venting gas (over 100). Flush eyes with water if gas enters. Do not ingest electrolyte. Wash skin with soap if electrolyte splashes.
- Fumigation: Be cautious with halogen-based fumigation for export as it can cause corrosion. Ensure fumigant does not directly contact products and allow for thorough drying.
