Usage Precautions
1. Circuit Design: Ensure capacitors are used within specified performance limits. Avoid high temperatures, overcurrent, overvoltage, reverse voltage, AC voltage, and rapid charge/discharge cycles. Select capacitors with a lifespan comparable to the machine's. For special requirements, consult R&D. Ensure complete isolation between capacitor terminals, casing, and circuit. Use capacitors with adequate insulation if the sleeve is insufficient. Avoid environments with direct water/saltwater/oil contact, condensation, harmful gases, direct sunlight, ozone, UV, or radiation. Ensure vibration and shock conditions do not exceed specifications. When designing installation, ensure proper spacing for the vent, avoid placing other components above the vent, and minimize heat-generating components near the capacitor.
2. Component Installation: Do not allow terminals to touch or cause short circuits. Confirm the installation environment is free from water, oil, condensation, harmful gases, direct sunlight, ozone, UV, or radiation. Ensure vibration and shock do not exceed specifications. For double-sided PCBs, avoid mounting capacitors over unnecessary holes. Ensure current equalization for parallel connections and voltage equalization for series connections.
3. Assembly and Use: Do not allow terminals to touch or cause short circuits.
4. Soldering: Ensure solder does not adhere to areas other than terminals. Follow specified soldering conditions (temperature, time, number of times). Do not immerse the capacitor body in the solder solution. Prevent other products from falling onto the capacitor during soldering.
5. Cleaning: Do not clean capacitors with cleaning agents. If cleaning is necessary, follow product specifications. Ensure cleaning agent management (conductivity, pH, specific gravity, moisture). After cleaning, do not store in cleaning liquid or sealed containers. Dry with hot air (below maximum operating temperature) to prevent residue.
6. Fixatives/Coatings: Do not use halogen-containing fixatives or resin coatings. Ensure no solder residue or dirt remains between the PCB and capacitor. Dry thoroughly before applying fixatives/coatings to prevent blockage of mounting holes.
7. Bolt Product Installation: For vertical installation, ensure the pressure valve faces upwards. For horizontal installation, ensure the pressure valve or positive terminal faces upwards.
8. Regular Inspection: For industrial use, regular inspections (visual and performance testing) are required.
9. Accidental Situations: If the capacitor's vent opens during assembly, cut off the main power. If the vent operates, hot gas (over 100) will be ejected; keep face away. If gas enters eyes, rinse immediately with water. Do not ingest electrolyte. If electrolyte contacts skin, wash with soap.
10. Fumigation Treatment: Be cautious with fumigation using halides (e.g., potassium bromide) for overseas export, as it can cause corrosion. Ensure fumigant does not directly contact products and allow for thorough drying. Inquire about safety if fumigant residue or insufficient drying is suspected.
11. Storage Conditions: Store indoors at 5-30 with humidity below 75%. Do not store in environments prohibited for assembly and use.
12. Disposal: Puncture or crush and incinerate, or hand over to specialized recyclers.
