Usage Precautions
Circuit Design: Use within rated performance. Avoid high temperature, overcurrent, overvoltage, reverse voltage, and rapid charge/discharge. Ensure capacitors match machine lifespan. For special requirements, consult R&D. Isolate capacitor terminals from positive/negative and circuit. Ensure casing insulation. Avoid contact with water, saltwater, oil, condensation, or harmful gases. Do not expose to direct sunlight, ozone, UV, or radiation. Avoid vibration/shock exceeding specifications. Ensure proper spacing for terminal holes and vent space above the capacitor. Avoid placing components or wiring near the vent. Minimize heat-generating components around the capacitor. For double-sided PCBs, avoid mounting over excess holes. Ensure current/voltage balance in parallel/series connections.
Component Installation: Do not let terminals touch. Avoid short circuits. Ensure no contact with water/oil or condensation. Avoid exposure to sunlight, ozone, UV, or radiation. Avoid harmful gas environments. Avoid vibration/shock exceeding specifications. Ensure correct terminal spacing for PCB holes. Do not apply excessive force with automatic insertion machines. When soldering, avoid solder adhering to non-terminal areas. Follow specified soldering conditions (temperature, time, cycles). Do not immerse the capacitor body in solder. Prevent other products from falling onto the capacitor during soldering. Do not use dropped capacitors. Do not install deformed capacitors. Ensure correct polarity before installation. Discharge capacitors with a ~1k resistor before use or after long-term storage. Ensure correct capacitance and rated voltage.
Assembly Use: Prevent direct contact between capacitor terminals. Avoid conductor materials causing short circuits. Ensure the environment is free from water/oil, condensation, harmful gases, direct sunlight, ozone, UV, or radiation. Avoid vibration/shock exceeding specifications. Ensure proper mounting space above the vent. Avoid placing wiring or components near the vent. Ensure correct terminal spacing for PCB holes. Avoid placing other wiring on the PCB near the capacitor. Minimize heat-generating components around the capacitor.
Maintenance: Regular inspections (visual and performance testing) are required for industrial capacitors.
Accidental Situations: If the vent opens during assembly, cut off power. The vent may release hot gas (>100); avoid facial proximity. If gas enters eyes, rinse immediately with water. Do not ingest electrolyte; wash skin with soap if contacted.
Fumigation Treatment: If exporting products requiring fumigation (e.g., with potassium bromide), be cautious of halogen ion corrosion. Fumigant should not directly contact products. Ensure thorough drying. Verify safety if fumigant residue or insufficient drying is suspected.
Storage Conditions: Store indoors at 5-30 with humidity below 75%. Do not store in environments prohibited for assembly/use.
Disposal: Puncture or crush and incinerate, or hand over to specialized recyclers.
