Usage Precautions

Circuit Design: Use within rated performance, avoid high temperature, overcurrent, overvoltage, reverse voltage, and rapid charge/discharge. Ensure proper isolation between capacitor terminals and circuitry. Select capacitors with a lifespan comparable to the machine's life. Consider exploring custom specifications with R&D for special machine requirements.

Component Installation: Ensure correct polarity, avoid dropping or using deformed capacitors. Match PCB hole spacing to capacitor lead spacing. Ensure adequate space above the capacitor's safety vent. Avoid placing other components or wiring directly above the vent. Minimize heat-generating components near the capacitor. For dual-sided PCBs, avoid mounting over unnecessary holes. Ensure current/voltage balance in parallel/series connections.

Assembly & Soldering: Prevent direct contact between terminals. Avoid solder adhering to areas other than terminals. Follow specified soldering conditions (temperature, time, cycles). Do not immerse the capacitor body in solder. Prevent other components from hitting the capacitor during soldering.

Cleaning: Do not use cleaning agents unless specified. If cleaning is necessary, adhere to product specifications regarding cleaning agents and drying procedures to prevent residue.

Fixing Agents: Avoid halogen-containing fixing agents. Ensure no solder residue or dirt remains between the PCB and capacitor. Dry thoroughly after cleaning before applying fixing agents.

Mounting: For bolt-type products, ensure the pressure relief valve faces upwards during vertical mounting, or upwards/positive terminal upwards during horizontal mounting.

Maintenance: Regular checks (visual and performance testing) are required for industrial capacitors.

Accidents: In case of safety vent activation, disconnect power immediately. Keep face away from the vent due to hot gas release. Flush eyes with water if exposed, wash skin with soap if electrolyte contacts it. Do not ingest electrolyte.

Fumigation: Be cautious with halide fumigation (e.g., potassium bromide) for overseas exports, as it can cause corrosion. Ensure fumigant does not directly contact products and allow for thorough drying.

Storage: Store indoors at 5-30 with humidity below 75%. Avoid storage conditions similar to those prohibited during use.

Disposal: Dispose of by puncturing/crushing and incineration, or by handing over to specialized waste recyclers.
