Lead-free Reflow Soldering Conditions
Recommended for infrared radiation (IR) or hot blast systems. Avoid vapor heat transfer systems (VPS). Perform reflow soldering once; if twice is necessary, allow at least 30 minutes between cycles. For lead-free soldering:
- Preheating from 150C to 200C: max 180 seconds.
- Soldering time above 217C (capacitor top): max tL seconds.
- Peak temperature (capacitor top): max TpC, with time within 5C of peak not exceeding tp seconds.
Allowable Peak Temperature Range:
- 4~6.3 (2.5mm thickness): Tp 2500C, tL 80s, tp 5s
- 8 (2.5mm thickness): Tp 2400C, tL 60s, tp 5s
- 1010.5L (2.5mm thickness): Tp 2350C, tL 40s, tp 5s
