The RVT Series V-chip aluminum electrolytic capacitors are designed for various electronic applications. They comply with EU directive 2002/95/EC and Japanese industrial standards JIS C-5141 and JIS C-5102. Lead-free Reflow Soldering Condition
Recommended Conditions for Reflow Soldering
Use infrared radiation (IR) or hot blast systems. Vapor heat transfer systems (VPS) are not recommended. Reflow soldering should be performed once. If a second reflow is necessary, allow at least 30 minutes between them.
Lead-free Reflow Soldering Conditions:
- Preheating time from 150C to 200C: Max. 180 seconds.
- Soldering time at 217C (measured on capacitor top): Not to exceed tL seconds.
- Peak temperature on capacitor top: Not to exceed Tp(C). Time within 5C of actual peak temperature: Not to exceed tp seconds.
