Key Features & Usage Notes

Circuit Design Considerations:

  • Ensure operation within rated performance range (temperature, current, voltage).
  • Avoid extreme conditions: high temperature, overcurrent, overvoltage, reverse/AC voltage, rapid charge/discharge.
  • Select capacitors with a lifespan comparable to the machine's.
  • Capacitor casing, terminals must be isolated from positive/negative poles and circuits.
  • Do not use if sleeve insulation is insufficient.
  • Avoid environments with water, salt water, oil, condensation, or harmful gases (sulfides, etc.).
  • Avoid direct sunlight, ozone, UV, or radioactive environments.
  • Ensure vibration and shock conditions do not exceed specifications.
  • Ensure capacitor polarity and spacing match PCB holes.
  • Provide sufficient space above the safety vent.
  • Avoid placing other components or wiring directly above the safety vent.
  • Avoid heat-generating components near the capacitor.
  • Consider temperature and frequency variations.
  • Ensure current/voltage balance for parallel/series connections.

Assembly & Installation:

  • Do not allow terminals to touch each other or cause short circuits.
  • Confirm the installation environment: avoid water, oil, condensation, direct UV/ozone, harmful gases, excessive vibration/shock.
  • Ensure correct spacing for terminals.
  • Ensure adequate space above the safety vent and avoid obstructions.
  • Do not use dropped or deformed capacitors.
  • Ensure correct polarity before installation.
  • Avoid excessive force from automatic insertion machines.

Soldering:

  • Prevent solder from adhering to areas other than terminals.
  • Follow specified soldering temperature, time, and number of times.
  • Do not immerse the capacitor body in solder solution.
  • Avoid impact from other products during soldering.
  • Post-soldering handling should not cause mechanical stress (tilting, twisting, impact).

Cleaning:

  • Avoid using cleaning agents. If necessary, clean within specified limits.
  • Ensure cleaning agents are managed (conductivity, pH, specific gravity, moisture).
  • After cleaning, do not store in cleaning liquid or sealed containers. Use hot air drying.

Other Notes:

  • Do not use halogen-containing fixatives or coating agents.
  • Ensure no residual solder or dirt between the board and capacitor.
  • Ensure no cleaning residues before applying fixatives/coatings.
  • For bolt-type products, ensure the pressure valve faces upwards during vertical installation, or the positive terminal faces upwards during horizontal installation.
  • Regular inspection (visual and performance testing) is required for industrial capacitors.
  • In case of safety vent opening during assembly, cut off the main power.
  • If the safety vent opens, hot gas (>100C) will be ejected; avoid proximity, flush eyes with water if gas enters, do not ingest electrolyte, wash skin with soap if splashed.
  • For overseas export, avoid using halogenated fumigants (e.g., potassium bromide) as they can cause corrosion. If fumigation is necessary, ensure the product is not in direct contact with the fumigant and is thoroughly dried.

Storage Conditions:

  • Store indoors at temperatures of 5-35C with humidity below 75%.
  • Do not store in environments prohibited for assembly and use.

Disposal:

  • Drill holes or crush and incinerate.
  • Alternatively, hand over to a specialized waste recycling company.
