Lead-free Reflow Soldering Conditions

Recommended Conditions:

Use infrared (IR) or hot blast reflow soldering. Vapor heat transfer systems (VPS) are not recommended.
Perform reflow soldering once. If a second reflow is necessary, ensure a minimum of 30 minutes between soldering cycles.
For lead-free type reflow soldering:
- Preheating time from 150C to 200C: Max. 180 seconds.
- Soldering time at 217C (measured on capacitor's top): Not to exceed tL seconds.
- Peak temperature on capacitor's top: Not to exceed TpC, with time within 5C of actual peak temperature not exceeding tp seconds.
