Lead-free Reflow Soldering Conditions
Recommended Conditions:
- Use infrared radiation (IR) or hot blast systems. Vapor heat transfer systems (VPS) are not recommended.
- Reflow soldering should be performed once. If a second reflow is necessary, allow at least 30 minutes between cycles.
- Preheating: Time from 150C to 200C shall be within a maximum of 180 seconds.
- Soldering Time: The time at 217C on the capacitor's top shall not exceed tL seconds.
- Peak Temperature: The peak temperature on the capacitor's top shall not exceed Tp(C), and the time within 5C of the actual peak temperature shall not exceed tp seconds.
