Resistance Value Codes and Marking Rules
E-24 Series (0603, 5%): Three digits. First two are significant figures, third is the power of 10.
E-24 Series (0603, 1% & 0.5%): Three digits with a short bar underneath.
E-96 Series & E-24 Series (1% & 0.5%): For dimensions 0805, 1206, 1210, 2010, 2512, 4R02, 4R03, use four digits. First three are significant figures, fourth is the power of 10.
E-96 Series (0603): Three codes. First two digits represent E-96 resistance code, third is a letter for the multiplier.
Decimal Point: Represented by 'R'.
Jumper: Represented by '0'.
0201, 0402 Dimensions: No marking on the glass side.
Non-IEC Standard Series: Marked using the closest IEC E24 series nominal resistance marking method.
Special Marking Requirements: Printed according to agreed results.
Instructions for Use
Environmental Considerations: Performance may be affected by use in liquids (water, oils, chemicals, solvents), direct sunlight, dusty environments, sea winds or corrosive gases (Cl2, H2S, Nh3, SO2, No2), static electricity or electromagnetic waves, proximity to heat-producing components or flammable items, sealing with resin or coating materials, and use of unclean solder or water-based cleaning agents after soldering.
Precautions: Avoid exceeding rated power. Handle with care when picking up with tweezers to prevent chipping. Ensure soldering tip does not touch the product during manual installation.
