  • E-24 series (0603, 5%): Three digits; first two are significant figures, third is power of 10.
  • E-24 series (0603, 1% & 0.5%): Three digits with an underline.
  • E-96 series & E-24 series (0805, 1206, 1210, 2010, 2512, 4R02, 4R03): Four digits; first three are significant figures, fourth is power of 10.
  • E-96 series (0603): Three codes; first two digits for E-96 resistance code, third letter for multiplier code.
  • Decimal point indicated by "R".
  • Jumper resistor indicated by "0".
  • 0201, 0402 sizes have no marking.
  • Non-IEC series use closest IEC E24 series marking.
  • Special markings are printed as per agreement.
Chip Resistor Instructions for Use
  • Environmental Considerations: Avoid use in liquids, direct sunlight, dusty places, corrosive gases (Cl2, H2S, Nh3, SO2, No2), static electricity, electromagnetic waves, near flammable items, or when sealed with resin/coatings. Avoid unclean solder or water-based cleaning agents after soldering.
  • Precautions: Avoid applying power exceeding rated power. Handle with care when picking up with tweezers to prevent chipping. Ensure soldering tip does not touch the product during manual installation.
