  • For E-24 series (0603, 1% & 0.5%), a short bar is added under the three-digit marking.
  • For E-96 series and E-24 series (0805, 1206, 1210, 2010, 2512, 4R02, 4R03, 1% & 0.5%), resistance is marked with four digits: first three are significant figures, fourth is the power of 10.
  • For E-96 series (0603), resistance is marked with a three-code system: first two digits are E-96 resistance codes, the third is a multiplier code.
  • Decimal point is represented by "R".
  • Jumper resistors are represented by "0".
  • 0201 and 0402 sizes are not marked.
  • For non-IEC standard series, marking uses the closest IEC E24 series nominal resistance method.
