Resistance Value Code and Marking Rules:
- E-24 Series (0603, 5%): Three-digit code; first two digits are significant figures, third digit is the power of 10.
- E-24 Series (0603, 1% & 0.5%): Three-digit code with an underline below the marking.
- E-96 Series & E-24 Series (1% & 0.5%) for 0805, 1206, 1210, 2010, 2512, 4R02, 4R03: Four-digit code; first three digits are significant figures, fourth digit is the power of 10.
- E-96 Series (0603): Three-code system; first two digits represent E-96 resistance code, third code is a letter representing the multiplier.
- Decimal point is represented by "R".
- Jumper resistors are represented by "0".
- 0201 and 0402 sizes are not marked.
- For non-IEC standard series, marking uses the closest IEC E24 series nominal resistance marking method.
- Special marking requirements are subject to agreement.
