  • When potting or gluing the product, be aware that shrinkage of potting materials can apply stress, potentially affecting electrical characteristics or damaging mechanical properties. Verify that potting materials do not degrade or damage enameled wire insulation, plastic skeletons, or adhesives. Potting materials can also alter high-frequency characteristics.
  • For alloy or non-coated products, surface rust may occur in humid environments over time but will not affect product characteristics.
