General Information & Precautions

  • Maximum RMS Ripple Current: Values are tested at +105C, 100kHz. Adjustments are necessary for different operating temperatures and frequencies using provided coefficients.
  • Working Voltage: Ensure applied voltage does not exceed the rated voltage. Peak voltage, including DC voltage and ripple, must not exceed the rated voltage.
  • Insulation: Standard types have a PET sleeve for marking. For insulated cases, special designs are recommended.
  • Soldering: Avoid excessive temperature or time to prevent sleeve damage. Maintain a small distance between the capacitor and the PCB.
  • Safety Vent: Capacitors (10mm) feature a bottom vent for pressure release under abnormal conditions.
  • High Altitude: Suitable for transportation in temperatures from -40 to +105 and altitudes up to 200,000 feet.
  • Cleaning Agents: Avoid halogenated organic solvents to prevent internal corrosion.

Solderability Tested with Sn:96.5%, Ag:3%, Cu:0.5% solder at 2455 for 2.00.5s. Over 95% new solder adhesion required.
Resistance to Soldering Heat Tested with Sn:96.5%, Ag:3%, Cu:0.5% solder at 2603 for 101s. Capacitance change 5%, DF spec value, LC spec value.
Vent Test Applies to products with safety vent. Tested via reverse voltage or overvoltage methods. No explosion, flash, flame, spark, or fire when vent operates.
Temperature Cycling 10 cycles from lower category temp to upper category temp. Capacitance change 5%, DF spec value, LC spec value. No visible damage.
High Temp and Humidity 500 H at 402, 90~95% RH. Capacitance change 10%, DF 1.2 times spec value, LC spec value. No visible damage.
