- Load Life Test: Stored at Max. operating temperature 2C with DC bias and rated ripple current for rated life +48/0 hours. Characteristics: Leakage current specified value, Capacitance Change 20% of initial, Dissipation Factor 200% of specified value, no electrolyte leakage.
- Shelf Life Test: Stored at Max. operating temperature 2C with no voltage for 1000+48/0 hours. Characteristics: Leakage current 200% of specified value, Capacitance Change 20% of initial, Dissipation Factor 200% of specified value, no electrolyte leakage.
- Maximum Permissible Ripple Current: Max. AC current at 100KHz and max. operating temperature.
- Terminal Strength: Tensile and bending strength tests applied to terminals. No noticeable changes, breakage, or looseness.
- Temperature Characteristics: Tested at -40C, +20C, and +105C. Capacitance, DF, and impedance measured.
- Surge Test: Applied surge voltage 1000 times. Leakage current specified value, Capacitance Change 15% of initial, Dissipation Factor specified value, no electrolyte leakage.
- Change of Temperature Test: Temperature cycling per IEC60384-4 No.4.7. Characteristics: Leakage current specified value, Dissipation Factor specified value, no electrolyte leakage.
- Damp Heat Test: 5008 hours at 402C, 90~95% RH. Characteristics: Leakage current specified value, Capacitance Change 10% of initial, Dissipation Factor 120% of specified value, no electrolyte leakage.
- Solderability Test: Dipping in solder at 2455C for 30.5s. Soldering wetting time < 3s, coating quality 95%.
- Vibration Test: 10Hz ~ 55Hz for 2 hours in 3 directions. Inner construction: no intermittent contacts, open/short circuiting, no damage. Appearance: no mechanical damage, no electrolyte leakage or swelling, legible markings.
- Resistance to Solder Heat Test: Immersion in solder at 2605C for 101s or 40010C for 3+0/-1s. Characteristics: Leakage current specified value, Capacitance Change 5% of initial, Dissipation Factor specified value, no electrolyte leakage.
- Vent Test: For products with vent (diameter 6.3mm). Vent operates with no dangerous conditions.
