Solderability test Soldering temperature: 2455, Dipping depth: 2mm, Dipping speed: 252.5mm/s, Dipping time: 30.5s. Soldering wetting time: Less than 3s. Coating quality: A minimum of 95% of the surface being immersed.
Vibration test 10Hz ~ 55Hz, peak amplitude 1.5mm, for 2 hours in each of 3 mutually perpendicular directions. Inner construction: No intermittent contacts, open or short circuiting. No damage of tab terminals or electrodes. Appearance: No mechanical damage in terminal. No leakage of electrolyte or swelling of the case. Markings shall be legible.
Resistance to solder heat test Terminals immersed into solder bath at 2605 for 101 seconds or 40010 for 3+0/-1 seconds to 1.5~2.0 mm from the body. Tested after 1~2 hours under normal temperature and humidity. Leakage current: Not more than the specified value. Capacitance Change: Within 5% of initial value. Dissipation Factor: Not more than the specified value. Appearance: No leakage of electrolyte.
Vent test Applies to products with vent (diameter 6.3mm). DC test with reversed polarity and selected DC current. The vent shall operate with no dangerous conditions such as flames or dispersion of pieces of the capacitor and/or case.
