Product Overview
The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10-mm through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Available in carbon (PT-10) or cermet (PTC-10) resistive elements, these shaftless potentiometers offer versatile integration with various engagement mechanisms, including customized shafts, motor controls, or human interfaces. They are suitable for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, and volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and an operational life of up to 100,000 cycles. The series also offers IP54 protection and magazine packaging for automatic insertion. Applications span appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
