The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10-mm through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Available in carbon or cermet resistive elements, these shaftless potentiometers offer versatility through various engagement mechanisms like customized shafts, motor controls, or human interfaces. They are suitable for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, and volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, a long life cycle of up to 100,000 cycles, and IP54 protection.
