Product Overview

The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10mm carbon and cermet through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design allows for versatile engagement mechanisms, including custom shafts, motor controls, or manual interfaces. These potentiometers are suitable for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. Key features include excellent performance with up to 3% linearity, a choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and an operational life of up to 100,000 cycles. They offer IP54 protection and are available with magazine packaging for automatic insertion. Applications include appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
