Product Overview
The Piher PT-15 and PTC-15 are 15-mm carbon and cermet through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design allows for versatile integration with various engagement mechanisms, including customized shafts, motor controls, and human interface adjustments. These potentiometers are ideal for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, and volume. Key advantages include excellent linearity (up to 3%), up to 38 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and an extended life of up to 100,000 cycles. They also feature IP54 protection and are available with magazine packaging for automatic insertion. Applications span appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
