The N-6 is a 6 mm miniature carbon potentiometer designed for cost-effective control solutions in industrial, automotive, and appliance markets. It offers the features of traditional full-size potentiometers in a compact and robust design, with tape-on-reel packaging for automated placement. Key advantages include RoHS & REACH compliance, a carbon resistive element, over-molding technology for durability, and various mounting options (SMD or through-hole). The N6 is suitable for applications such as home and building automation, appliances, timer and control relays, power supplies, alarms and detectors, and light dimmers. An N6-R version with enhanced mechanical life is also available.
