Product Overview
The Piher PT-15 and PTC-15 are 15-mm through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Featuring a shaftless design, they accommodate various engagement mechanisms like custom shafts, motor controls, or human interface adjustments. These potentiometers are suitable for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. Key advantages include excellent linearity (up to 3%), a choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, up to 38 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and extended life cycles of up to 100,000 operations. They offer IP54 protection and are available with magazine packaging for automatic insertion. Applications span appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
