Product Overview
The Piher PT-15 and PTC-15 are 15-mm through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. These shaftless potentiometers offer versatile control for variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume, and can be integrated with various engagement mechanisms including customized shafts, motor controls, or human interfaces. They are suitable for a wide range of applications including appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, up to 38 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and high life cycles (up to 100,000). Both models offer IP54 protection and are available with magazine packaging for automatic insertion.
