Product Overview
The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10-mm carbon and cermet through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design allows for flexible integration with various engagement mechanisms, including custom shafts, motor controls, or human interfaces. These potentiometers are suitable for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, and volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), a choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and up to 100,000 life cycles. They also offer IP54 protection and are available in magazine packaging for automatic insertion. Applications include appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
