The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10mm carbon and cermet through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design allows for versatile engagement mechanisms, including customized shafts, motor controls, or human interface adjustments. These potentiometers are ideal for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. Key features include excellent performance with up to 3% linearity, a choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and an extended life of up to 100,000 cycles. With IP54 protection, magazine packaging for automatic insertion, and a self-extinguishing plastic option (UL 94V-0), they are suitable for a wide range of applications including appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, consumer electronics, and test and measurement equipment.
