Product Overview
The Piher PS-15 and PSC-15 are 15-mm carbon/cermet SMD potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design enables integration with various engagement mechanisms, including custom shafts, motor controls, or human interfaces, for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. These potentiometers offer excellent performance with up to 3% linearity, a choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, and polyester/alumina substrates. They can feature up to 38 mechanical detents for tactile feedback and boast up to 100,000 life cycles with IP54 protection. Available in embossed tape packaging, they are suitable for appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
