The PT-15 and PTC-15 are 15-mm through-hole potentiometers available in carbon or cermet technologies, designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design offers flexibility for various engagement mechanisms, including custom shafts, motor controls, or human interface adjustments. These potentiometers are capable of controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), up to 38 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and an extended life cycle of up to 100,000 cycles. They also offer IP54 protection and are available in magazine packaging for automatic insertion. Applications span appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
