The MTS-360 is an ultra-miniature, contactless Hall-effect rotary position sensor offering 360-degree absolute position feedback and endless mechanical rotation without a dead band. It retains position on power loss and features programmable electrical angles from 15 to 360 degrees. Its fully customizable nature allows for programmable transfer functions, switch outputs, various output protocols, and redundancy levels to adapt to specific requirements. The through-shaft design facilitates simple assembly and calibration, with limited wear and tear due to its true, contactless operation without gears or mechanical interfaces. This compact sensor is ideal for space-constrained applications, easily integrating onto PCBs and offering time and cost savings by eliminating the need for a separate sensor PCB. Applications span Industrial (optical image stabilization, biomedical devices, instrumentation, robotics), Home and Building Automation (HVAC), and Transportation (valve monitoring, autonomous steering, joystick controls).
