Product Overview
The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10-mm carbon and cermet through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design allows for flexible engagement mechanisms, including customized shafts, motor controls, or human interface adjustments, enabling control of variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, and volume. These potentiometers offer excellent performance with up to 3% linearity, a choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, and up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback. With a life cycle of up to 100,000 cycles and IP54 protection, they are suitable for demanding environments. Available in linear, logarithmic, and antilogarithmic tapers, with options for SPDT switches and low torque versions, the PT-10 and PTC-10 are versatile components for appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
