Product Overview
The MTS-360 is an ultra-miniature Hall-effect rotary position sensor offering 360-degree absolute position feedback and endless mechanical rotation without a dead band. It maintains position on power loss and features programmable electrical angles from 15 to 360 degrees. Its fully customizable nature allows for adaptation to specific requirements, including programmable transfer functions, switch outputs, and various output protocols and redundancy levels. The true, contactless operation, achieved without gears or mechanical interfaces, ensures easy assembly, calibration, and limited wear, contributing to a lifespan of up to 50 million cycles. The through-hole design facilitates shaft insertion from either top or bottom, simplifying assembly and making it ideal for space-constrained applications. This sensor is designed for integration directly onto PCBs, addressing packaging challenges typical of encoders and other absolute position devices.
