Product Overview
The Piher PS-15 and PSC-15 are 15-mm carbon and cermet SMD potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design offers flexibility for various engagement mechanisms, including custom shafts, motor controls, or human interface adjustments. These potentiometers are suitable for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), a choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, polyester/alumina substrates, up to 38 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and IP54 protection. They are available in embossed tape packaging and offer options for linear, logarithmic, and antilogarithmic tapers (PSC-15).
