Product Overview
The MTS-360 is an ultra-miniature Hall-effect rotary position sensor offering 360-degree absolute position feedback and endless mechanical rotation without a dead band. It maintains position on power loss and allows for programmable electrical angles from 15 to 360 degrees. Its fully customizable nature includes programmable transfer functions, switch outputs, and various output protocols and redundancy levels. The true contactless operation, free from gears or mechanical interfaces, ensures ease of assembly, calibration, and limited wear for an extended lifetime of up to 50 million cycles. The through-hole design facilitates shaft insertion from top or bottom, simplifying assembly and making it ideal for space-constrained applications. This sensor is designed for integration directly onto PCBs, offering significant time and cost savings.
Applications include: Industrial (optical image stabilization, precision biomedical devices, instrumentation, autonomous warehouse robotics, robotics and automation feedback), Home and Building Automation (HVAC systems), Transportation (valve monitoring, conveyor operation), and HVOR (autonomous steering, joystick controls, hand throttle position).
