Product Overview
The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10-mm through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Available in carbon (PT-10) or cermet (PTC-10) resistive elements, these shaftless potentiometers offer versatile control for variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. They are suitable for human interface adjustments, motor control, or customized shaft engagement. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and up to 100,000 life cycles. Applications span appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
