Product Overview
The Piher PS-10 and PSC-10 are 10-mm carbon and cermet SMD potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design allows for versatile engagement mechanisms, including custom shafts, motor controls, or human interface adjustments. These potentiometers are capable of controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, and volume. They offer features like IP54 protection, up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and locating pins for accurate PCB positioning. Available in carbon (PS-10) or cermet (PSC-10) resistive elements, with polyester or alumina substrates, they are suitable for a wide range of applications including appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and medical equipment control.
