The Piher PT-15 and PTC-15 are 15-mm through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Featuring a shaftless design, they offer versatility with various engagement mechanisms like customized shafts, motor controls, or human interface adjustments. These potentiometers are ideal for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, and volume. They deliver excellent performance with up to 3% linearity, offer carbon or cermet resistive elements, and can be equipped with up to 38 mechanical detents for tactile feedback. With a lifespan of up to 100,000 cycles and IP54 protection, they are suitable for demanding environments. Available in magazine packaging for automatic insertion, these potentiometers are used in appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
