The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10-mm through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Available in carbon (PT-10) or cermet (PTC-10) resistive elements, these shaftless potentiometers offer versatility for various engagement mechanisms, including custom shafts, motor controls, and human interface adjustments. They are suitable for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, and volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and up to 100,000 life cycles. The series also boasts IP54 protection and is available with magazine packaging for automatic insertion.
