The Piher PT-10 / PTC-10 is a 10-mm carbon or cermet through-hole potentiometer designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Its shaftless design allows for integration with various engagement mechanisms, including customized shafts, motor controls, or human interface adjustments. This potentiometer is capable of controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), a choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and up to 100,000 life cycles. It offers IP54 protection and is available with magazine packaging for automatic insertion.
