Product Overview
The Piher PT-15 and PTC-15 are 15-mm carbon and cermet through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design facilitates integration with various engagement mechanisms, including custom shafts, motor controls, and human interface adjustments. These potentiometers are capable of controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, and volume. They offer excellent performance with up to 3% linearity, a robust construction with up to 100,000 life cycles, and IP54 protection. Available in carbon or cermet resistive elements, they can be equipped with up to 38 mechanical detents for tactile feedback. Applications include appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
