Product Overview
The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10-mm carbon/cermet through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Their shaftless design allows for versatile engagement mechanisms, making them suitable for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), a choice of carbon or cermet resistive elements, up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and an extended life of up to 100,000 cycles. These potentiometers offer IP54 protection and are available with magazine packaging for automatic insertion. Applications range from appliance program selection and thermostat adjustment to consumer electronics and test equipment.
