Product Overview
The Piher PT-10 and PTC-10 are 10-mm through-hole potentiometers designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. These carbon and cermet potentiometers feature a shaftless design, enabling integration with various engagement mechanisms like customized shafts, motor controls, or human interface adjustments. They are suitable for controlling variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, extended life cycles (up to 100,000), and IP54 protection. Available in carbon or cermet resistive elements, they offer linear, logarithmic, and antilogarithmic tapers. Applications include appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
