Product Overview
The Caddock Type MS Power Film Resistors offer a wide resistance range and a maximum operating temperature of +275C, delivering performance capabilities that simplify circuit design and reduce equipment cost and complexity. These resistors provide full power and voltage ratings without derating, featuring non-inductive performance and higher voltage ratings without limitations of minimum wire size and spacing. Built with Caddock's Micronox resistance films, fired onto a ceramic core at high temperatures, they exhibit excellent long-term stability, with typical stability of 0.05% per 1,000 hours. The patented non-inductive serpentine resistive pattern ensures maximum cancellation of flux fields, resulting in faster settling times and minimum distortion in high-frequency circuits. Produced under intensive manufacturing controls, including power conditioning and overvoltage conditioning, these resistors meet stringent quality control requirements and are included in the Caddock Reliability Testing Program.
